SPEAKER_03Hello. I would like to issue an apology for the previous curation because it was cuckoo for Coco Puffs. And I feel much more sensible minded for this curation. And hopefully it won't be as bizarre as the previous one if you actually sat through that. Good for you. Yeah. Any any, you know, comments on the on the statement?
SPEAKER_02I didn't think it was that bad. Although I like cuckoo for cocoa puffs. Yeah. Just anything serial related to the country. Cuckoo for cocoa puffs isn't gonna make me.
SPEAKER_03Isn't it funny that they have cocoa puffs in America and we have cocoa pops here?
SPEAKER_02And they're the same thing, right?
SPEAKER_03Are they? Kellogg's is kellogs a thing in America?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_03But then they can't be the same.
SPEAKER_02No, I think it is. I'm pretty sure it is.
SPEAKER_03Do they have cornflakes in America?
SPEAKER_02But like I'm pretty sure Cocoa Puff is like the little mascot. You know, like cereals have mascots. Yeah. Is like a bird, I think.
SPEAKER_03Oh, and then Coco Pops is a monkey. Do they have rice krispies in America?
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Do they have ricicles?
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Do they have frosties?
SPEAKER_02When I'm in America, they definitely have frosties.
SPEAKER_03Do they have Wheatabix?
SPEAKER_02I don't think so.
SPEAKER_03Do they have raisin wheats?
SPEAKER_02I don't think so. Welcome to the curators of cereal. When I'm in America and I'm in a uh market and I'm uh approaching the cereal aisle, I'm not looking for British cereals. I'm looking for the ones I can only get there. So uh they might well have those, but they might well not, and I don't care because they have the the ones that are just like crystallise sugar in a box, and that's that's what I'm here for.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like the ones that have marshmallows and stuff.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03See, I feel like marshmallows and cereal, there are some brands in the UK that now do those. But when I when we were growing up, that was just no.
SPEAKER_01That was just nuts.
SPEAKER_03You basically got the option of like gravel with milk, and that was it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03You know, all bran.
SPEAKER_01All those options.
SPEAKER_03All bran. I like all bran, you know. I think it's actually quite tasty, it's kind of malty.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, put some sugar on it. Great.
SPEAKER_03A bit of all bran keeps you regular. You know.
SPEAKER_01I think that you might have uh put apology in a little bit too early in this curation.
SPEAKER_03But I do like cocoa pops because they are the best of all chocolate tea cereals.
SPEAKER_02And they turned the milk chocolate. They turn the milk chocolate tea.
SPEAKER_03I I, you know, do you remember when they changed the name for Coco Pops to Choco Krispies? Yeah. And it ended up being that it was just like an ad campaign because so many people complained that it wasn't called Coco Pops. People wrote in to Kellogg's and went, What are you doing? You crazy bastards.
SPEAKER_02It was really clever because they created a conversation about a cereal box.
SPEAKER_03And we had to vote. There was like, Can you send your vote? But instead of like an online or something, it was like you had to cut something out of the back of the cereal box and post it to Kellogg's.
SPEAKER_02Can we just talk about how cereal doesn't have like a toy in it anymore? Is it because so many children are that stupid that they like tried to eat the toy or like choked on the toy?
SPEAKER_03Well, I think it's also supposed to be that you're not supposed to promote cereal as a part of a child's diet anymore because it's not actually n has no nutritional value whatsoever. It's just so sad. Yeah, it's sad. I love cereal. All of the joy has been taken out of cereal.
SPEAKER_02I'm promoting cereal. Eat cereal, it's really good. Buy it, buy it for your children. It's really good for them. It's not, but you know, buy it anyway, because they love it.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I could take it or leave it, to be honest. I'm not a cereal person like you are. Emirs, I think, if he could just have cereal every meal, he'd be happy with that.
SPEAKER_02I would be happy with that.
SPEAKER_03Or just some some kind of breakfast food with an every meal forever. Yeah. Genuinely, I think that he would never complain.
SPEAKER_02If there are any of our American listeners that want to send me some cereal, I will happily take your cereal. Because I do. And for that matter, anywhere else in the world. If you want to send me some cereal, I will eat it, I will rate it and talk about it on the podcast if you want me to.

SPEAKER_03I don't know how I feel about this choice. I ummed an ard over this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I I struggled, battled with myself. I had an internal struggle.
SPEAKER_02I did enjoy this survey a lot.
SPEAKER_03Oh, me too.
SPEAKER_02But it was there was so much in it. I was like.
SPEAKER_03Talk about tangents.
SPEAKER_02I'm really struggling to find something that meets like even a few of these things because it's so diverse, which is really cool. And it was a good challenge.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I decided to go with the good old tried and tested gut method, which is Wait, you're going with your gut?
SPEAKER_01You never do that, oh no wait, you you always do that.
SPEAKER_03I always do, and then I win. Um I don't know. This is this could be a hit or miss, to be honest. And you won't really understand because I know for a fact that you've never seen this film. So um so yeah, I'm excited to re-watch this film. Okay. It's been a while for me. Yeah. But I've decided to take it back a little bit. Well, a little bit more than I did last time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Going back to 1984.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, that's a little bit.
SPEAKER_03And we are going to be enjoying the magic of the movie, The Company of Wolves.
SPEAKER_02I have not seen this and actually, like, was considering that it would be a good choice just based on what I know about it, but because I haven't seen it, obviously I could not choose it. And I have not seen it, and I have wanted a an excuse to see this for a while. Can I ask you a question about the Company of Wolves?
SPEAKER_03Sure.
SPEAKER_02Is it a anthology horror?
SPEAKER_03It sure is, my love. It sure sure is.
SPEAKER_01My favorite kind of horror.
SPEAKER_02Uh I I actually haven't talked about this that much outside of those episodes where we talk about ourselves in detail, but I love anthology horror. Oh my god. It just is so satisfying. So uh you give me any anthology horror, especially one that I know this has a really good reputation, I'll be very happy to watch it.
SPEAKER_03Genuinely, this is one of the weirdest films that I have ever watched, and it's based on a collection of short stories. It's a lot there's a lot of good things going through it. It is pure, pure unadulterated 1980s cheese and horror, and I for that will love it forevermore.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you have gone into a very, very different direction than where I have gone.
SPEAKER_03Oh, how exciting. That's always fun.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I can I can kinda see how you've got there, but boy did I go the opposite direction.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's what we were talking about in terms of this survey, this questionnaire. This might be all over the show.
SPEAKER_02This might be the weirdest pairing of films I think we've had yet. So I let me uh remove the tension and reveal what I've chosen for our next victim. Well, I am very, very excited to watch Company of Wolves. Awesome. You know, even if it isn't a great pick for Anna, you'll have someone who's excited to watch.
SPEAKER_03I mean, why are you automatically assuming it's not gonna be a good pick?
SPEAKER_02I mean, you said I did my job. You said you weren't too sure, so that's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03This is a weird one, but you know, my gut is usually right. I trust my gut. Okay. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, uh, I can kinda see how you got to this. Like I said, I can you know, I can kinda get it, but I'm not a hundred percent. But I have gone in quite a different direction than than than you have.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02Uh so uh I know that you'll be happy with this pick, even though it's not for you. Because this is a horror film that we have watched, I want to say twice.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_02And it's not that old.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02So I'm taking it back. Taking it back. Not quite as far as you have, by any sense of the imagination.
SPEAKER_03Just a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Or even a teeny little beat. Oh wow. That's very high. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's how little.
SPEAKER_02Uh it's very little, so I'm taking it back to 2016.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_02And we will be enjoying the Belco experiment.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. Nice. Nice. Yeah. For a minute there I thought that you you were gonna say that we were gonna watch um oh god, I've forgotten what it's called. You know, the one with the eels again.
SPEAKER_02What again?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I I curated that for the last episode of season one. I can't have it again.
SPEAKER_03I know. What's it called again?
SPEAKER_02A cure for wellness.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, cure for wellness. Somehow in my head, those two merged, and I was like, We're doing a cure for wellness? We can't do that again. No, I'm a fan of the Belco experiment, so um, yeah, looking forward to watching that one again. Me too. Yes.
SPEAKER_02So yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, interesting. Yeah. Very different, two very different films.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's a bit of an odd pairing, but uh two good films, all the same.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think I can see kind of how you got there. But we'll see. We'll see. The proof is in the pudding. Or the cereal. Uh hey. I see what you did there.
SPEAKER_02Bringing it to bring it back to taking it back.
SPEAKER_03Very, very vaguely.
SPEAKER_02Very vaguely.
SPEAKER_03What's better? Pudding or cereal? I don't know. Cereal. Pudding.
SPEAKER_02Cereal. Pudding. What's your favourite cereal?
SPEAKER_03I don't think I have a favourite cereal.
SPEAKER_02Well, have one. Have an opinion.
SPEAKER_03I do about pudding.
SPEAKER_02Well, what's your favourite pudding?
SPEAKER_03You know what my favourite pudding is.
SPEAKER_02I do.
SPEAKER_03Depends what kind of pudding we're talking about. Are we talking about like, you know, pudding pudding as in like, you know, soft angel delight style pudding, or are you talking about pudding like dessert?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because if you're in the US, pudding is is is a very specific thing. And if you're in the United Kingdom, it's just another word for dessert.
SPEAKER_03Your pudd. Have your pudd. Yeah. Have your pudding first.
SPEAKER_02So do you want to answer either of the questions I asked you? No. Well, you answered that one. Alright. Well, uh let's tell our lovely listeners where they can check out of these movies.
SPEAKER_03So, because I've gone for a bit of a random film, again, it's not really available to watch in many places. Such is the nature of the films that I like to pick. If you are in the UK and you fancy checking out the Company of Wolves, you can rent it from one place on the internet. And that one place is BFI Player.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03I mean, classy as hell. Yeah, that's BFI Player. Yeah, so if you fancy um renting it, you can do that. And you can just buy it on DVD if you still deal with things in the solid world as opposed to the digital world. If you're in America, it's available in slightly more places. You can stream it on Amazon Prime and Tubi, and you can also rent and buy it from Amazon. So slightly more easy to watch it if you're in America.
SPEAKER_02And if you want to watch the Belco experiment and you're in the United Kingdom, it's available in surprisingly few places for a good film that only came out four years ago.
SPEAKER_03Really? Yeah. Probably more than mine, though.
SPEAKER_02Uh I mean, yeah, definitely more than yours. Um you don't have to you don't have to buy a physical thing to watch it, although I'm sure you could if you wanted to. Yeah. Uh no, you can rent it or buy it from Amazon, YouTube, Rakuten TV, and you can also buy it from Sky Store if you're so inclined. And if you're in the United States, then you can stream the Belco experiment on Pluto TV. Well houses. I've not heard of that one before.
SPEAKER_03It's probably because it's not a planet anymore.
SPEAKER_02We've been doing this for so long, I would have thought I would have heard of all of the different um You didn't even services laugh at my planet-related humour. Oh no, I just didn't think it was funny. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Fair enough.
SPEAKER_02Uh or if you're in the US, you can buy it or rent it from Fandango Now, YouTube, Voodoo, Redbox, and AMC Theatres on Demand. So, yeah, I guess, like we said, uh, quite an unusual pair of films. I don't think these two films probably will have ever been talked about against each other. You know, maybe we can discover some, you know, deep-seated connection that the Belko experiment is actually really, you know, a long-lost sequel to Company of Wolves.
SPEAKER_03I don't think so.
